Choosing flowers for your wedding can be tough because they are all so beautiful, but I think we can all agree that they certainly uplift the whole feel of the celebration. Maybe you are looking for elegant, white orchids to flow down the centerpiece, or stunning pops of colors with dahlias. Maybe something a little more rustic like daisies and sunflowers are more your style. In any case, there are hundreds of ways to elevate your special day by simply adding a few touches with florals.

If you are having a hard time deciding which direction to go towards, start by choosing a color palette. Are the bridesmaids wearing blush pink or royal blue dresses? Do you want to make a bold statement with your floral arrangements, or are you looking for them to be subtle enhancements? Do you have a favorite flower that you absolutely have to have? Try choosing some of your favorite ones and then use smaller flowers as fillers.

How about using flowers to create breathtaking scenes? Your ceremony can certainly be highlighted with gorgeous petals leading you down the aisle.

Finding the perfect florist is not easy, but it does make it easier when you have decided on the style of centerpiece you love. Florists are usually very good about listening to you and determining what arrangements will be perfect for you and your big day. So, don’t be shy and ask for what you want. Ask for examples and maybe try a few arrangements out to see what colors you like best together.
