REASONS FOR THE SEASONS

Have you ever thought how seasons can completely influence the look and feel of your special day? If you already have an idea of what you want your wedding to look like and the details that go along with that, don’t forget to think about what time of year and where you will be located at that time.
For example, in some places, the weather cools down in September and October but here in San Francisco, the weather is perfectly sunny and warm. It’s the rare time we don’t have the chilly fog surrounding us! It’s a great time to have all the beautiful Summer colors during that time like pinks and greens, but if you wanted to use the lovely yellow, orange and gold colors of the Fall, that is great too.
What about the Winter? It’s a bit cold but it doesn’t snow here, and you might catch a sunny day too. That’s the best part of the temperament of the Bay – the weather is still fairly mild. You can utilize gorgeous deep colors like navy blue and maroon with silver touches.
If you are looking for a mysterious mist and fog rolling through the hills, then Summer here in SF is for you! Bright colors are a great way to bring that pop out. Vivacious red and purple tones are a great way to brighten up any space.
Springtime can be a little cool still but gorgeous touches of soft lavender and white florals can be just the thing to liven up a venue space.
Whichever season you choose for your big day, remember to compliment by simply detailing with color coordinated florals, linens and other enhancements to bring out the exact style and feel of your day.
